1. A sad poem

A little bluebird stood high on the tree,

do you want to know what did he see?

The prettiest snowflake anyone has ever seen,

gently falling to the ground, right beside him.

The bluebird fell instantly in love,

he spread his wings and jumped from the branch above.

he flied and sang, doing flipity flop

but when he realised something his heart almost stopped.

“If my love falls on the forest floor

I’m going to lose her in all that white snow”.

“I have an idea. I know what I’ll do.

Forever together, just me and you”.

“I will let you land, safely on my wing

and then I’ll take you up on my favourite tree”.

He rushed to the ground, landing on his feet.

“I must do this right”. His heart started to beat.

Then he looked up, “Oh no this can’t be”!

Do you want to know what did he see?

Thousands of snowflakes falling all around,

Now his love surely will never be found.

“I will not move, untill I see her in the sky”.

I no longer care if I live or die.

The bluebird started freezing, sinking deep into the snow

But he did not move, oh no no.

He waited for his love, and that’s how he died.

Like a valiant knight searching for his bride.

And if you were there, what would you see?

The prettiest snowflake, melting on his beak.

  2. Lazy witch

    On a darkest night
    In the darkest room
    stood the darkest witch
    with her darkest broom

    Dark thoughts she had
    silence she would bring
    I couldn’t believe
she would do such a thing

    “When the moon is full
    If I do it right
    I could stop all music
    on a Christmas night”

    “I just need
    a couple of things,
    1 purple dog
and the first day of spring”

    “5 mushrooms that grow
    on the highest peak
    in the biggest forest
    by the longest creek”

    “then a dinosaur egg
    5 falling stars
    one wooden leg
    and a rock from mars”

    “This is too hard!
    This is too tough!
    It would take years
    to collect all that stuff”

    “And it would take months
too cook it in the oven!”

    So she just laid back
    and played some Beethoven.

  3. Ant and a guitar

    There was an ant

who tried to play a guitar

and trust me when I say

    he didn’t get too far

    Because the ant was small

and the guitar was big you see?

    Is this story funny

    only to me?

    Ant and a guitar

  4. My shoe and a rock

    My shoe and I
    best friends we are
    one day we walk
the other we drive a car

we go together to the store
to the zoo or to the bar
    sometimes nearby and
    sometimes very far

And we pass a little rock
    outside my house
    rounded nice rock
    gray as a mouse

my shoe seems to like it
in fact much more than that
it allways stares at the rock
    when i’m stopped to chat

    I think it’s in love
    that I must say
‘cause it makes me go out
    allmost every day

    And that one day
    it couldn’t resist
    My shoe decided
to give the rock a kiss!

    I know that this is
    a strange tale to tell
But I had to do it
cause that’s the day I fell

    My shoe and a rock
